24th of July Parade in Washington - The 10,000 Stripling Warriors

This is the 24th of July Parade in Washington, My Husband Andy and His brother Kevin and some added friends and Family Jade Glazier on the horse and Thatcher on his pony and Clancy which is Kevin's son was also in this entry. The Entry was called the 2000 stripling warriors. Andy is Driving the Chariot at the beginning of the Warriors and then there was scouts in the back then behind them was his brother Kevin Driving This buggy with President Elder Holland and  then the Missionaries was behind them, it turned out to be wonderful. When Elder Holland got to where we was at in the parade on the side of the road he put his hands out to Kody and asked him if he wanted to come and ride in the buggy with him and so I put him up there and he sat on his lap and rode in the parade with him for at least another block and then Thatcher brought him back to me on his horse. I think that was the most awsomest thing that happened, I wish that I wasn't videoing the parade just then and I should have taken a picture of Kody on his lap but I do have it all on Video. It turned out awesome. Then at the the End Kevin took the Hollands back to their hotel and some of my kids go to take a picture with them on the buggy it was awesome..
This is Kevin getting ready to go pick up Elder Holland from his hotel he had to fix a few things before he was ready to go, but I think that his horse looked really pretty on his buggy they go very well together..
This is Jade Glazier he is one of Kevin and Andy's really good friend that was an out rider in the parade for Kevin..

The Kids were all posing for the camera so we took some pictures they turned out very cute..

This Is Andy Driving the Chariot my niece Emma asked me after he had passed where Uncle Andy was and I told her that he was Driving the Chariot and she said where I didn't see him I just seen somebody in a Costume and I said ya that was Uncle Andy, she was just laughing because she didn't think that is was him..

This is when Elder Holland asked Kody to come ride with them and so I put him on but I didn't get a picture of him on there I need to see if somebody else did and then I will add it to  this post I was really awesome that he asked him to ride with him. He is a awesome man and is well loved in this family of ours, he always has good things to say and is a good part of our lives we all love him dearly..

This is when the kids wanted to stand next to the sign at the Cemetery and get their picture taken I wish we would have had all the rest of the kids but they weren't all there..

This is when Kevin took The Hollands back to their Hotel and Ann went with most of the kids and got to take a picture with them, I wish that I would have known I would have went to and Had my picture taken with them also, but what and honor to be able to be around such a wonderful couple and an awesome apostle of the church of Latter Day Saints, at Least I have the picture with Kyle in it to be able to remember for always.. Thanks Ann and Kevin for the Picture..What a wonderful 24th of July to Celebrate with such a man like this.. Wonderful Day..

Kyle's 6th Birthday July 16, 2013

This is Kyle's 6th Birthday it was on Tuesday, July 16th, 2013. He asked for a few little things and one of them was some saddle bags that he could use when he went with his dad on horse rides and pack trips, so I cut a pattern out and made him some saddle bags. I didn't quit get them all done for his Birthday but I did get them done for when he went with Andy today on a Youth conference wagon/hand cart trek and he will be riding horses. He was so excited..

He also asked for a bucking bull with the rider on it and so he got one, he was happy about that..
He got some yo yo's and a coloring book from Great Grandma Ballard he loves yo yo's.

Chyrisse and her kids gave him a cow chute that you can put either horses or cows in and then pretend that you are doctoring them and then let them out. Thank you Chyrisse..

This was his cake, he asked me to make him a farm cake and I didn't have enough time to go all out so this time it was really simple with a Popsicle stick barn with animals and a tractor on the cake, with different colors of frosting to make the different sections where the animals live, he said he liked it so I guess I did something right..
He blew hard but he just couldn't get all the candles to go out at the same time, I think he blew 3 times before he got all the candles out, I think he did a good job, when there is allot more candles on the cake then it will be harder to blow them out..

Andy's Chariot Practice ride

This is some pictures of the Chariot that Andy gets to drive in the 24th of July Parade for Washington City, He is was excited to be able to a part of this wonderful 2000 stripling warriors parade entry and so are the kids, they get to watch this parade. They are usually in the parade with Andy but this time only Thatcher will be in the Parade on his horse riding next to his Uncle Kevin because Kevin is driving his carriage with President Elder Holland on it and Thatcher and his cousin Clancy gets to be outriders for Kevin and they are so excited that they get to be involved. It is going to be an awesome Parade. I will be there to get the pictures like I always am.. We are looking forward to this one.. It will be a lasting memory we hope..

Washington Rec Center Water Fun

Fun day at the Washington Rec Center. The kids love to go there. This little ones get to play in the shallow place and the bigger kids get to go around and around in the lazy river they just love it..

Daniel Seely and Thatcher loves to just go around and around in the lazy river because the water just pushes them and they stay in this most of the time that we are at the pool, they had so much fun..

Elizabeth was taking Clayton down the little slides that they have in the kid section and he was having so much fun splashing in the water at the end of the slide, it was cute..

Elizabeth was just relaxing at the end and letting her hair get wet.. She is such a water duck she could live in the water all day long if I would let her..

Thatcher was showing me that he can float in the water and I am glad that he isn't afraid of the water anymore. He used to just hold on to me and not let go and now he goes where ever he wants to, having the life jackets I think help him feel more comfortable..

Kody loves this section of the pool because he can run around on his hands and still  have his head above the water and he loves it. I am glad that he isn't afraid of water for being as young as he is.

Clayton loves splashing in the water and has so much fun. He also likes to climb in and out of the pool along the edge and it is so funny to watch him crawl in and out and then sit down and splash in the water.

Kody loves the swings in the kid section of the pool sometimes he has me put him in it and push him and then he lets his feet drag in the water, he loves that part the most..   We love going swimming together, I am glad that I have the opportunity to go and take my kids swimming. My mom and sister bought me a family pass for three month at the pool for my Birthday and I am very thankful for them for doing this so that I can take my kids out of the house and go have some fun with them..
