Hurricane Mud Run May 17,2014

This race was a blast we had to go through obstacles and the mud and water and over hills, it was really fun. I also did this with the people who got me into running and they are a big part of my life right know and I am glad they are in my life, Thank you Jeannie Willard, Jeremy and Kristen Poston for talking me into running and keeping my goals and continue being there for me..

Color me rad Race 5K May 10,2014

This was our color me rad race that we did on May 10th 2014, Elizabeth did it with me and also My friend April Schear and her daughter Brinley it was her birthday and she was so excited to do a race for her birthday but she couldn't do it without a little bit of help from me I had to carry her most of the time on my shoulders just so we could finish the race and one of the times her mom took her and tried to run with her but she said holy cow I don't know how you do this it is really hard. well at the end we made it and had a lot of fun doing it.

I love these pictures of us and having the St. George Temple in the back ground I just love looking out over all of this and we could still see the thing that matters most, the St. George Temple..

My first race ever a 10K in the snow and everything

My very first race ever, 10K, mostly all hills and 6.2 miles and of coarse it had to start snowing for the first time of the year December 6th 2013. It was a lot of fun except for the snow plastering on the side of my face then it was a good experience for my first run.

The finish line yeah I am done. 1 hour and 17 minutes which was faster than my practice run so I was tickled pink because I had my hip out and had to slow down but I still finished faster then I thought I would..

Giving the kids hugs for coming and watching me do this crazy thing as Andy would say. He asked me if it was worth it and I told him yes, I have just made my self healthier, run faster and I am able to do anything that I put my self to do. I am glad for this new accomplishment..

My first half marathon- DogTown half Marathon Feb 2014

Kyle and the Kids waiting at the finish line for me to come in.
K
Andy, Kody, and Clayton waiting for me to come in at the finish line. One of my favorite pictures even if it is the back side of them..

This was one of the hardest things that I have ever done except have 5 children, when you don't think you have anymore energy left then the coarse feels even longer. I felt bad but I had to leave my friends because i told them if I slowed down I wouldn't make it to the end, it was hot long miles and no more energy I made it in exactly 3 hours and 6 seconds and I was very emotional at the end because I didn't think I was going to make it to the end I am so proud of myself for accomplishing something else in my life to make it worth wild.. Thanks to all those who helped me train, was there for me when I wanted to quite and for all those who supported me at the end of the race.. thank you all..
